SCENE: Lambchop and Phil on stage.
Phil: I heard you got lost yesterday - again. What happened?
Lambchop: I was day dreaming and fell over the cliff.
Phil: Were you hurt?
Lambchop: No. I didn't fall too far. But I couldn't get back
up until Grandpa came and helped me.
Phil: At least you're safe and that's what's important.
Lambchop: Sure, but I feel stupid and scared when I get lost.
Phil: You seem to get lost whenever someone isn't watching
you.
Lambchop: What happened to me was what happened to another
sheep that Jesus talked about. But Jesus wasn't really talking about sheep, he was talking
about people.
Phil: What do you mean He was talking about people?
Lambchop: What Jesus was saying was that people need someone
to lead them or they get into trouble. They need Jesus to help them or they get into
trouble. But people are like me. They go and do what they want to do.
Phil: Well how does a person follow Christ?
Lambchop: Jesus is God's Son; and he said if you confess your
sins, repent, and believe that he is God's Son, you wouldn't be lost anymore. And he would
be your shepherd. You see, Jesus died on the cross so people wouldn't have to die because
of what they do wrong.
Phil: Jesus really must have loved us a lot to do that.
Lambchop: He really did. Well, I've got to get back to the
flock. Bye.
Phil: Thank you for talking with me.
Lambchop: Your welcome. Bye.
