Dear Friends, Would you kindly please pray for my beloved,
David, he has pancreatic cancer. His cancer is not responding to
treatment, and he begins radiation treatments and further testing
today, July 16. I am humbly submitting my request to you to pray
for remission of this cancer, for total healing. David's faith is
waning, and I pray that will be strengthened, as will his courage
and physical strength. The news from the medical community is
consistently bad, and we have begun to wonder if there are any
pancreatic cancer survivors. According to doctors, "it is
unlikely - about 2% chance - that David will live out the rest of
his life." I fear this bright, loving man, who loves life
and has so much to give, is losing his will to live. I pray that
God will restore David's health and beautiful spirit, and allow
him to watch his daughter grow up. I am truly grateful for your
prayers and support, David is the true love of my heart, my
kindred spirit, and I cannot fathom life without him. I am
requesting prayer from people across the world. Some folks have
even sent letters of encouragement, and get-well cards. My e-mail
and postal addresses are listed below, just in case. I cannot
begin to express how much I appreciate the support, prayers, and
love we have already received. Thank you, in advance, for your
prayers and your time...and thank you for being there. With
sincerest regards, Debbie Meyers dmeyers@cadence.com 320 120th

Praise the Lord for the great PROMISE KEEPERS conference in
Cincinnati last week (5/9&5/10,1997). It was a real blessing
to all the men who attended (45,000). For information about
Promise Keepers contact me by Email or phone. Also don't forget
the stand in the gap rally in Washington DC on Oct. 4, 1997.
There will be over a million Christian men of all denominations
there. Airlines, busses, charter busses and Amtrak are already
getting booked up so make plans now. Contact me for more
information. dwingler@hsonline.net

This is by far one of the best Web sites in the country.
Every time I log on, I not only feel informed, but I feel
refreshed. This is superior use of the cyber tools God has
provided for the spreading of his word to the world. God bless
you, and keep up the much needed work that the Lord has blessed
you to do. Your Brother in Christ.

My son Matthew is in need of prayer. He has a rare bone
marrow failing disorder called Fanconi Anemia. He is in need of a
bone marrow transplant. We were hoping that he could get a cord
blood transplant, because Fanconi Anemia patients engraft better
with cord blood. The success rate is better. We found out today
that there is no match. Please pray that an unrelated bone marrow
donor can be found. His health status is critical right now and
we need all the prayer we can get for him and that the transplant
will be a success. The odds are against us right now and we are
asking that he be put on as many prayer lists as possible.

Please pray for the First Apostolic Church in
Shepherdsville, KY. The church sanctuary is currently under 4 - 5
feet of water from the ongoing flood. The piano, pews, etc. are
literally floating around in the water. Damage to the church will
obviously be extensive, and is not covered by insurance. The
pastor is Bro. Mike Swartz.
